Chat Server on Discord for Online Write-ins
We hold online write-ins on our Discord server.
Feel free to pop in and see if anyone's around for brainstorming, chat, or word sprints.
In the #wordsprints channel, @Sprinto (bot) makes organizing sprints so easy!
The commands are:
- _sprint n at :xx - To set up a sprint, where n is the length of the sprint in minutes and :xx is the time (minutes of the hour) to begin at. For example "_sprint 30 at :35" would run a sprint from 35 minutes past the hour, for 30 minutes, ending at :05 past the following hour.
- _join n - To join an announced sprint, where n is your starting wordcount.
- _wc n - Tally your results after, where n is your ending wordcount.
Note: Only one sprint can run at a time. If you are late to start one, no problem, just write what you can and join in the next one!
I'll use these sprints from our official write-ins, and anyone else can run sprints whenever one isn't already going!
